1.1 Boar Time in Beijing
Saturday 2/17/2007 Beijing.
We visited Sherry's grandmother in the suburbs of Beijing on New Years Eve.
The fireworks started at 12:00am... and won't stop for another 15 days or so... In the land where they invented fireworks and firecrackers, it goes off every hour between 8am and 2am for the 2 weeks of Chinese new year. Gets a little old and loud after the second day.

1.2 Beijing Revisited
Instead of visiting historical relics and sites this time, I got to see Beijing from a different perspective. There is still a lot of construction going on, but a lot has been completed since my last visit.
Here are some things that have been there for a while, for later, and for now.

3 Wuzhen
3.1 small place small things
Wuzhen is a tiny town with canals. It has been well preserved so it feels like old China. However, it also felt a little bit like a theme park. Right below this sign is the ticket booth selling admission tickets to enter the town.
Still, it is beautiful.
